Hi! My name is Sarah & I'm a Maryland based artist that creates original artwork for home decor. Most of my pieces are acrylic painting on canvas. I'm a full time hairstylist (who always wanted to pursue art) and when the pandemic hit I was out of work for a little over 2 months. During that time I was reconnected to my love of artwork and painting! It took me a while to start sharing what I was doing with others, and now I'm at a point where I feel comfortable sharing what I create, and I hope it can bring joy to other people's homes as it does to mine!

I love creating texture with my paintings, specifically using crackle paste and modeling paste! I believe one of the characteristics that stands out as one of a kind is being able to see and feel (don't worry, all my paintings are varnished) actual texture on the canvas.

It feels incredibly vulnerable sharing what I create with people, especially the general public. All I can hope for is that my paintings can bring joy and comfort, or evoke emotions with people visualizing them. Let my art tell it's own story, or feel free to come up with a story of your own for it.
